Karlyn Byrd-Hearne is currently a District Elementary Math Coach for Channelview ISD. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Houston-Downtown majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Math (1-8).  Karlyn also received her graduate degree from Prairie View A&M University in School Counseling (EC-12) and holds a Principal certification (EC-12). She has been in education for 17 years with 10 years classroom experience, 6 years as a Math Instructional Specialist and 2 years and counting as a District Math Coach.

Maria is a Chemistry Teacher at Galena Park High School. She received her B.A. in Biology/Chemistry from Our Lady of the Lake University and her M.ED. in Secondary Education from University of Texas Pan-American. Mrs. Barraza is currently working on two M.ED.s, one in Bilingual Education and another in Educational Psychology with emphasis in Special Education. She has 13 years teaching experience teaching ten years of chemistry, biology and physics at P.SJ.A ISD. Currently, Ms. Barraza works for  Galena Park ISD.

Latonya Rudolph is the proud treasurer for Northeast Houston AFT and is the At-Risk Facilitator at Alice Johnson Jr. High school in Channelview ISD. Mrs. Rudolph attended Texas Southern University and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After working for the Department of Human Service for 4 1/2 years, she entered into the education field.  Eventually, she returned to school, attending Prairie View A&M University obtaining her Masters in Counseling and Educational Administration.  Latonya is happily married with four children and have a deep passion for
