Nominations for delegates to the 2019 Texas AFT Summer Convention are open Friday, April 12 - Monday, April 22 at 5 p.m. The convention will be held here in Houston, and delegates will be representing the membership of NEHOUAFT.
Interested in being a delegate?
- Nominations are open to any member in good standing (current on dues for the past three months) of NEHOUAFT.
- All nominees must be willing to attend convention sessions and report back at the next NEHOUAFT General Membership Meeting in September, 2019.
- Each elected delegate must pay a $100 deposit for convention registration.
- Elected delegates who participate for the entirety of the convention may be reimbursed their deposits, either partially or in full.
- Election of delegates will take place at the end of year celebration on Thursday, May 9, 2019.
- You are welcome to nominate yourself.
